Old Amsterdam won silver medal in Russia
First Russian quality prize for Old Amsterdam
During the Prodexpo food fair in Moscow, Old Amsterdam won a silver medal for ‘Best product 2012’ in dairy produce. After having been rewarded several times nationally and internationally, this is the first prize for the Dutch cheese brand in Russia.

The glorious history of Westland Cheese Specialties
After the Zuiderzee was closed off in 1932 the brothers Klaas, Gerrit, and Lambert Westland, who had always been fishermen, had to find another source of income.
They each decided to start peddling cheese independently in the Catholic south of the Netherlands.
